Welcome to the first official Devlog for Pet Simulator 99: Overhauled!
This marks the beginning of a completely reimagined experience — redesigned visuals,
smoother performance, and tons of festive fun.
In this post, we’ll walk you through everything that’s been happening behind the scenes:
new systems, design goals, sneak peeks, and future content that’s on its way this holiday season.
One of the biggest parts of this update is the complete redesign of the UI and world visuals. Every texture, every lighting setup, and every environment detail was redone from scratch to capture that perfect cozy Christmas atmosphere.
Snow gently falls across every map. Festive garlands hang from the buildings, and glowing lights twinkle across the sky. Even the pets have adorable Christmas outfits this time around — from Santa hats to gingerbread costumes!
The game’s backend received a massive refactor. We’ve built a new architecture for data saving, performance scaling, and cross-server features. This means fewer bugs, faster gameplay, and a foundation that allows us to expand with ease in future updates.
Here’s a peek behind the curtain! We’ve been experimenting with new animation tools and lighting engines to make the gameplay experience smoother and more realistic. Below is one of our early concept shots for the new snowy spawn area:
This overhaul wouldn’t be possible without the amazing feedback and passion from the community.
Every bug report, every idea, and every suggestion helps us shape the world of Pet Simulator 99.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be rolling out additional updates to polish every detail — from pet
balancing to snow shader improvements. You can expect smoother animations, more events, and more
Christmas cheer!
